(Repeat question from our first book, but thought it was appropriate for this book as well)

Do the characters seem real and believable? How do characters change or evolve throughout the course of the story? What events trigger such changes?

Yes I think all of the characters seem very believable. And very suspensful....Mary Higgins Clark really knows how to keep you guessing!! She had me all the way until the end, I had suspected several different people.....especially the assistant, Vince (right). And I watch I lot of "crime TV" so I had heard of the real life stories of the sleepwalking murders.

Each character evolves differently, each time a "Police Search" was conducted or Kay figured out another piece of the puzzle.....things changed for each character.

I thought this was one of her better books so far. Her newer books haven't been the greatest in my opinion, however this one was as good as her earlier books. I thought that the characters were pretty believable. I thought the house that they lived in sounded a little unbelievable, but I am not rich and do not live in a house that enormous, so maybe it was hard to visualize. I guessed it was Richard, but I still wondered about her husband due to the whole sleepwalking thing.
