Okay if you haven't seen it, don't read this......................

That season finale totally SUCKED!

I feel like I wasted 23 weeks watching a mediocre show in hopes of a good finale, just to get a less than mediocre finale.. What a waste. Why they killed off Charlie.. if they were going to kill someone, they should have made it Jack. And what was with the whole flash FORWARD? There were some "huh?" moments that raised more questions (wow, that's totally new), but nothing that made me desperate to watch it next fall. *sigh* I'm off for some pb oatmeal chocolate chip therapy.

They DID make it look like charlie died, but I keep hoping that somehow he makes it. I'll be really sad if Charlie dies. And I agree....I HATED the flash forward thing. I'm not sure why the he** they did that.

OKay I woke up EARLY, couldn't sleep, can't stop thinking about this show!! HOW are they gonna continue this for 3 more years??????

That flash forward thing was totally wierd!!!I thought Jack's father died?? "Call my father down from upstairs, and if I'm drunker than he is, fire me!!" And who's funeral did he go to??

That was just way too easy for them to get rescued like that!! And I DON'T WANT CHARLIE TO BE DEAD! Now I'm mad, why why why did they do that????

I was Ok the finale. Here is my take on the whole thing....

I think that the flash forward was kinda cool. IMO - they WON'T be rescued. I think that the flash forward was to add the twist of us now not wanting them to get back home. Showing us that they just may be better off on the island ~ like Ben mentioned. Jack's dad is dead - I think that comment "Call my father down from upstairs, and if I'm drunker than he is, fire me!!" was to show that he had obviously lost it (besides the drug,drinking and "I want my plane to crash again" problem).

My thoughts on the funeral are that it was Ben's. If they all get rescued, I am assuming they (the rescuers) would take Ben also (since he is now in the group) and that once he is off the island he kicked the bucket ??? Just a theory. I got the idea they all knew who it was, but nobody cared enough to go. Or maybe John??

What was with the kiss between Juliette and Jack...Ewwwwww! is all I have to say on that. :hurl:

I LOVED Hurley and the VW bus coming to the rescue (I like Hurley's character). :happy dance:

AND I am absolutely PO'd if they really killed off Charlie (which it appears they did - unless someone gets to him ASAP, and gives him mouth to mouth!) THAT'S JUST WRONG!!!

And I really want to know who (or what) this Jacob is!

I am with you flybygrace. I get so tired of being frustrated with this show. I am under the impression that the producers and creators of this show are power tripping and have all these loop holes in place ot make the average viewer feel stupid....and then after three years go "oh did you not get that?.....or remember when they did this?....duh you..We totally see teh connection...". you know what I mean?

I hate feeling stupid and I hate having so many unanswered questions. I think they should close one chapter and move on in some sense. Have each season roll into the other each year after year with tons more questions left unanswered is entirely too confusing and above my head. I even said to dh, why do I watch this damn show? Yes, I like the drama, the suspence and the characters but right now, I am more pissed at the management of this show than anything. They make me not want to tune in next year!

Let's just watch the first episode to see if Charlie dies - and if he does, click it off and never tune in again!!!!!!

I've been a lost skeptic this season, but I have to admit I liked the finale.

Yeah, charlie died. It made me kind of sad, but it was noble and lets face it Dominic Monaghan (actor who plays charlie) is capable of bigger & better things than lost so him leaving is ok by me. I like that he died a hero, although I'm not sure why he didn't just let the whole station flood and try to escape with Desmond. I think he was trying to save Des - he'd have drowned trying to talk to Penny... oh-well.

I loved Ben's credibility unraveling... he's been playing "god" too long! I was a little disappointed that Loche was still alive, I'd have rathered him eat his gun.
Dang - Walt sure matured! lol

Jack yelling about his dad... they cleared that up right after when he said "don't look at me that way, don't pitty me".

I totally loved the twist of the forward story. I was / am so sick of everyone's back stories. Although I thought Kate looked dreadful.

I think they could be rescued and it would still be 'Lost' - it just turns into more of a metaphore. I'm more excited than ever about the future seasons.

I must be the oddball here. I LOVED the episode - and the hour-long "The Answers" that was on before it. I can't wait to find out what is going to happen next season.

I know I've said something like this before, but I love the fact that there are so many unknowns to this show. More and more questions keep popping up - I love that part of it. I know that in two more seasons, everything will be wrapped up and it's all going to make sense. Well, maybe not everything, but there will be a rhyme and reason for things. I love the fact that this show makes me THINK.

See...I'm not sure they ARE going to be rescued. You know how Ben kept warning him that the new girl was really a bad person and if Jack called to her boat there would be bad things happening??? So my theory is that she really IS bad, so maybe next year the lost clan and the "others" will band together to fight them. They've sort of run the course with their current group, so they probably need to add some new "bad" people. But even if the others and the lost people don't band together, I think they'll add a twist with the "boat" people.

I thought the thing with Walt was interesting. His voice sounded spooky and almost reminded me of "jacobs" voice. And how he told Locke that he COULD get up and to do so and do what he needed to do. Very weird.

I actually liked all of it but the flash forward. Hated that!!

This show totally confuses me!! I guess that is what it is meant to do though, I was laying in bed last night & couldn't quit thinking about it. GRRR!!!

I really wish that they would give us some actual answers, along with the mysteries.

I did LOVE the part where Hurley came busting thru the jungle in the VW Van!! Awesome rescue scene, IMO!!

And, what is with the dude with the eye patch??? He keeps getting killed, then coming back to life??? WTH??? Is he a robot or something, like the "terminator" LOL lol!!!
