Dh and I went to see this on Sunday. Wondering if anyone else has had the opportunity. What did you think? Did you like the ending?

I didn't really like the ending that much. It was just kind of a disappointment to me cuz it dragged on and on. Defenitly wasnt at thrilling as the original.

Haven't seen it yet, 2 of my sons have seen it. They like it alot.

i enjoyed it and can't wait for the next one to come out. hopefully it finishes teh whole story and all. but hey i could watch johnny depp and orlando bloom for hours and hours so hey.

I went to see it with Conor and I liked it but heck whats not to like. Johnny Deip prancing about and Orlando Bloom well I wouldnt kick him out of bed for eating toast:D

As to the ending its a real opener for the third one Ithink they are filiming now.

It must be good Conor wants to buy the boxed set he is convinced will come out later

I agree Johnny Depp as Captain Jack was cast perfectly I think - not too bad to watch for 2 hours. I enjoyed it quite a bit too, but was a little disappointed they left you hanging soooo much at the end (a la Back to the Future). I also agree with Connor ~ definately a buyer!

Loved it Loved it Loved it. The ending was definetly an opener for the 3rd. Yes, Johnny and Orlando are fantastic, but my heart belongs to Norrington(Jack Davenport). He used to be on a show called Coupling on the BBC. He's been in alot of other shows/movies as well. Pirates came out on my b-day weekend. I went to see it with a friend, then the next day with my kids, this weekend I am going with my Dh, who finally has a weekend off from the ER!!!

We just went to see this last night.

I thought it was very good . dh thought it was good but ddint enjoy it as much as the first...he loved the computer animation in the first.

dd and ds liked it although there were some scary parts.

yes definitely recommend it

I believe the 3rd is coming out next summer. And it was good DH liked the 1st one better, but he still liked it. FIL cracked us up b/c he's not at all the movie type and he was like "so do you think this is going to happen in the next one?" all serious and contemplative.. LOL
