My Dh can be so sweet sometimes.......ok most of the time....

He had to redeem some points through something...anyway...he handed me a $50 gift card for Borders!!

Woo Hoo!! He said I know you like to read and you are always getting books for the book club. He is just too sweet, isn't he?

And I am so excited too....because having to research your suggestions for this months VOTE....I want to read more than one!! I want to read most of them actually!!

And I am bad...I still haven't gotten into a good habit of going to the library....which I need to do, especially since it is closer than the book store!!

Oh well, for now I am going to Borders!!

Have fun, I am the opposite I ONLY ever go to the library. I usually only read books once unless its really really good so I can't justify buying. Plus I have an awesome library.

OMG, you lucky girl!!!! I wish my dh would get it thru his thick head every year at birthday or Christmas time that the best gift to get me is a G/C to a book store! I even put it on my list ,never happens.
Libraries are great for getting books you want to read but not sure you want to own. I love my library too, but they carry very little selection of True Crime books that i like to read, mostly because alot of True Crime comes in paperback form from various little known authors and i guess the library doesn't have the extra funds to take a chance on books that might not get read- and i can totally understand that. Sometimes i am just too impatient to wait on a waiting list for new releases, but i have gotten much better over the years about my book buying.
