I heard this. Actually I'm disappointed. I like him okay, but he just doesn't seem like a good match for that show. Oh well...I don't really watch it anyway.

I agree. I don't care for him as the pick either. When I first saw this I thought "What made them pick HIM??" I wouldn't have even put him in the top 10. Guess we'll see how it goes.

I'm the odd one -- I think Drew Carey is a good choice. The only other one I could see stepping into Bob's shoes was John Hurley, but he wasn't even on the last list that I recently saw. In fact, when I saw the last list (and for the life of me I can't remember the other names on it), Drew seemed to be the only good choice. However, I don't watch 'The Price is Right' so this is a non-issue for me, but I might tune in a few times to see how Drew does.

At the end of the show, I wonder if Drew will tell us to remember to spay and neuter our cats and dogs?

I agree, with everything you said, except I don't even like him a little bit! He's JUST NOT FUNNY!

I think Drew Carey is a great choice!! No one would be like Bob, but Drew will do a great job and bring his own personality to the show!

I think he will do well. He is a Cleveland native so I gotta like him His brother used to work in the same building as me years ago and Drew would meet him for basketball games in the lobby. Always very friendly though I never asked for his autograph but did say a hello!

I DO like him, but unsure about this specific show for him. Part of the nice thing of the Price is Right is that Bob let the contestants become the main focus for "personality" on the show, he always just kinda sat back. I wonder if Drew will try to add TOO much too it, try to hard to add comedy....ya know what I mean?

It will be interesting to see what happens

I would not want to be the person to fill that job AT ALL! No matter who is chose, it is one of those uphill battles to win people over. I think he is probably a good choice since he is an ordinary guy and will bring his own character to the show. John Hurley would have been too "Boblike".

I am just so glad it isn't Rosie! Whew!
