Bumping this post up because I saw the movie last night. The movie was OK - kind of watered down and very "chick-flicky". I LOVED the book, but was disappointed with the movie version. Not to spoil things, but 50% of the story was completely changed from the book. I thought the book was kind of black comedy, but the movie reminded me of a "13 Going on 30" type of thing. I'd recommend reading the book over seeing the movie.

Oh that stinks! I'm almost finished with the book now and am REALLY liking it! I think I still want to see the movie.
