Okay, I'm a little bummed that dark haired chick didn't get the boot after her comments the other night, but her re-performance of the song was 1000 times better than the night before! And Jill...had she done the Evanesence song instead of Hole the night before, she never would have been in the bottom 3!
Yeah, sad to say...I think I'm watching the rest of the season...really like Toby. I have Dh watching too...he agrees but thinks I'm really only watching for Jason Newstead and Dave Navarro (well..DUH)
And thanks alot to whoever called Dave Navarro Little Satan....The show came on, they introed him and I said to Dh...Look it's little Satan, and had to explain why and now that's all I can think of when I see him

We are already waaay too into this show. Why in the world do I have absolutely no member of this Gilby Clark character who was apparently in Guns N Roses? He looks like a great big ole hillbilly! No offense to hillbillies

ok my .02 with this show. as a big fan of metallica i was
watching it to see jason and what he was like behind the guitar.

ya know what? i cant stand this show! its for a variety of reasons...like most of the participants are too young to know what hard rock/heavy metal is - let alone sing it! the songs they sing are what i call "pop rock" and they sound awful.

this supernova group are 3 men in their 40's who are surely all recovering sex, drug and alcohol addicts! Can you really see some of those contestants trying to relate/party/work with these hardened, wrinkled men?

also - i am quickly loosing respect for all four of those guys - dave navarro inclueded. when i think of heavy metal i would think that these guys still have a tough edge to them..instead they're so nice and complimentary and sweet to the contestants...gimme a break! the guy who sang a duran duran song should have been kicked off the stage the minute he opened up his mouth!

they need ted nugent on there as a judge and it moved to cable...so he can tell these teeny boppers who just bought their black nail polish and black clothes in kolhs that they s*cked and to get real....and dont come back till you bit the head off a crow or something!

am i alone in this thinking? its too candy sweet for me...or had tommy lee and company just aged and are sell outs for any type of attention?

ok! back to being a mommy!

There in lies the beauty of the show. These guys were in some of the biggest bands ever and now they are hocking their new band on primetime network tv.

DH is a HUGE Metallica fan and I joke the only reason that Jason is on this show is that he blew all of his Metallica money.

2bearsmom, I thought all 3 of them did waaaaay better than they did the night before. *I'd have like the black haired chick to go too since she seemed so haughty. *Oh well....I told my dh that there's probably already 6 or 7 they know they're going to axe, so it really doesn't matter that much what order they go in...they're just going eventually * I like the australian guy (is that Toby?!?) *I'll be watching too!!
