I was disapointed the show didnt have a better tribute to him, I just thought they would do a little more than a picture.

I think they will do an episode to write off his character...If thats all they did after so many years I think I would have to quit watching it. The scary thing is I can actually say I have watched on and off for 21 years

I hope they do do something more because like you said if thats it then I would probably sop watching too. I read somewhere that they are having his character retire.

I have been watching since I was a little girl. My mom watched As when I was young so I have too. I think it has been at least 25 years that I have been watching it, that I can remember!

I am so out of the loop ./What happenned? I see that he died, but was this something sudden?

Did they write off his character on the show too? I remember not too long ago they had someone else playing his part for awhile...will he be back or did they write Hal off completely?
