I have to say that I have never heard the song (don't listen to much music), I really admire her for putting her view out there like that, and I do agree with most of them.

To be honest, when I saw the title of your post, I thought it was about the TV show, Pinks (on SPEED Channel)

LOL. I also like Pinks the show lol. Pink(S) is a winner all around for me.
I hope i didnt make anyone mad by my responses. Just my opinions. :D Politics are ALWAYS a bad thing to talk about lol.
And for the record I asked dh what he though and he agrees with Jodie- he says he dislikes the song because he feels like pink is picking on him because hes an "easy target" . (so much for dh agreeing with me

Gotta say, I love Pink, not so big on Bush. However, the reason I love her is more than just this song, she is a strong woman and I feel like sometimes in popular music we are going back to the woman as an object. She doesn't conform! I know it is hard to hear a different and strong opinion on the radio, but I don't think she is being disrespectful. She doesn't seem like a nasty person, just a straightforward one.
As for our lovely president, 2008 can't come fast enough

So, she spends every waking moment, and OF COURSE, every dime she has, on the homeless, motherless, etc? I sincerely doubt it. This is just more mindless dribble. Bush or not, it's WAY easy to say what you would do. JUMP UP AND DO IT!

Um, she does support at least 14 charities -a heck of a lot better than I'm doing....

I much rather like her way of putting forth her opinion than the way the Dixie Chicks did years ago (and I still like the Dixie Chicks, and Toby Keith, but they sure didn't use a lot of tact back then).

I also like the new song by Matchbox 20.....however the Democratic advertisement at the end bugs me too. Again I DON'T CARE TO SEE IT IN A MUSIC VIDEO!!!!

Thanks for saving me the time of typing it. It is a heartwrenching video but you can't blame the President for everything. If anything, I think the video shows her youth and igorance of how the world works. Did she thank the President for being a rock star?
