I don't have the desire to see the remake. I love the original, though! I don't know why but the remake looks dumb.

We love Zac Eftron and I love Jhon Travolta. My hubby got it free from a radio station too. I saw the first one as a kid, but didn't remember too much about it. But yea, wasn't too impressed with it. I didn't like the n word used alot. My kids had never heard it and couldn't understand why things were like that, so we a talk after the movie about how things used to be. The movie was okay, but not great and I wouldn't watch it again.

Oh yea and there is one part (didn't read all of the post so don't know if someone mentioned it already) where one girl is hiding under a blanket in the car. Needless to say her head is in a boy's lap and her mouth is open as she sings. It looks really bad. My kids didn't catch on to because they are young and of course don't know. But any older ones (teens) would probably know.
