I don't know why I thought she had already came out. Nope no suprise to me. I don't think it will hurt her chances for roles, now days it's really not that important. Plus she's a genius. My favorite movie is Freaky Friday!! Or The Little Girl Who Lived Down The Lane (strange movie for it's time). And as for Anderson, He's so cute I hope that's a rumor.

I am more surprised by Anderson Cooper than Jodie Foster I always thought she was and had the "my personal life is just that, personal." attitude about it and respected her more for it.

Being gay and out of the closet doesn't make you a better/worse actor. I think she knows that. And I don't think it will affect her roles. Hollywood was prob like the rest of us and assumed it anyway.

Anderson Cooper? Whaaat?? I always thought Jodie was gay. It doesn't affect my opinion of her at all. I think she's a wonderful actress. Always have, always will.

Wow! I didn't know it about Anderson Cooper, but then again, who cares? I don't watch news to see who is gay, but to see who I think is the best newscaster.

No surprise about Jodie, but same thing! She is a great actress, director, producer and always will. I love "Little Man Tate", one of her lesser known movies. It really touched me at the time.

ROFLMAO!!!!! I've been telling my dh that Jodie Foster is a lesbian for YEARS! Mostly to rub it in since he has the biggest crush on her and i always laugh at him because she seems a little "manly" to me, in fact i always called her "she-boy". So i had the satisfaction this morning of showing him this thread. Now he's pouting in the living room! LOL. Folding his arms and saying " i don't care, she's still hot!".......lol.
Now Anderson Cooper.......that's a shocker, i was surprised to hear that one. Why is it the really handsome ones are gay?!!
Don't get me wrong, i still think Jodie is a great actress. That movie Aliadam was talking about " The Accused" had a really intense rape scene in it and it made me sick to my stomach to watch because Jodie made it look so real! Whenever i watch that movie, i have to skip over that part, it bothers me that much! That was some good acting!

I always thought Jodie Foster was kinda "butch" but I still think she's an excellent actress. She has been in so many great movies, I agree that "The Accused" was so 'real' It really freaked me out too!! One of the other movies of hers that I really liked was "Nell"

I'm surprised about Anderson Cooper too, but hey, whatever, its his business, not mine!!
