Just as a Devil's advocate here...We don't know if she was using birth control or not. The only 100% form of BC is abstinence, and since she obviously WAS having sex...we still don't know she could have been on the pill or using condoms...both fail...There are women here that will attest to that.

What's done is done, she's a 16 year old "role model" and it is shocking, but she is taking responsibilty for her choices, at the very least I admire her for THAT.

I'm NOT saying I think what is happening is a good thing, it is a sad, sad day when a child gets pregnant, but she is doing the responsible thing and owning up to it. She didn't have an abortion and keep it hush-hush, and she didn't stay out of the lime light and hide it from her parents and then give birth in a bathroom stall and dump the baby in the trash. There were alot worse things she could have chosen to do than come out and admit she made a mistake.

NO ONE knows what they'd do in that given situation UNTIL you're in it. You can say you'd do this or that until you're blue in the face, but you just can't know until it HAPPENS to you.
