Wow! Didn't Julie look FABULOUS? I laughed when they all came out tanned. That always makes you look better, even if you are fat, don't you think?
Of the people who went home--Neil, Phil, Jez--they all looked great! Jerry should have left his shirt on, he looked great, too, but that was just gross. Ryan looked like a little boy!
I was a little disappointed that Bill and Jim both won. I think it was disappointing because none of my favorites were in the final four, so it was eh, you won, no big deal.
Did you hear Hollie mention that 90% of the Biggest Loser contestants gain weight back? I wonder what they consider "gaining the weight back," though? For some of them, even gaining 10-20 lbs back probably wouldn't be that big of a deal. I had seen Matt and Suzy (from season 2, I think) earlier this fall and Suzy just had a baby and it seemed like they both gained a lot of weight. I haven't seen them since, though, so I don't know if they took it back off.
I can't wait until New Years Day to watch the new season! I didn't see any sign of Kim anywhere on the previews. Jillian has also said that she is only doing 2 more seasons because they are still making her look like the bad guy.

Julie did look amazing. She got down to 121 lbs!!! I'm curious to find out how tall she is but there wasn't anything left to lose!

I was too. It didn't seem right that the same (extended) family won both big prizes. Both Hollie and Julie did just as well but it comes down to percentages, which doesn't seem fair to the women who don't have as much to lose.

I know. I guess that's slightly better than the regular stats of 95% of the general population will gain back everything (and often more) from a weight loss of over 30 lbs. It's discouraging! I've lost 25 and kept it off but I never reached my goal. I'm still 10-15 lbs from not being technically over weight but I've been able to get and stay out of the obesity section since late 2003.

Me too! But it always takes me a few weeks to bond with and get to know the new numbers. I'm not sure I like the idea of couples though. I guess it worked for Jim and Bill but there seemed to be a lot of fighting on the previews when the couples are set against each other. The mother daughter one would be cool. Both my parents are morbidly obese. I would love to do something like that with them!

Wow. Thanks for posting this. I fell asleep watching it-go figure. lol
So the brothers won both prizes, huh? They both looked amazing, but it is true that the men will always lose more. =/ Well at least Neil didnt win. I never forgave him for that 17lb weight gain stunt he pulled to out Jez.

I think they all looked great but Julie and Hollie..wow...gorgeous! I'm happy Bill won...and Jim...at least they did it fair and square. Regardless of being in the same family; they deserved it as much as the next guy/girl.
As far as percentages it is way more fair than the weight! That is why they do it that way..to give women the same chance. They take your starting weight and the percentage of that lost. Much more fair than say, who lost the first 50 lbs.

OMG i couldn't believe how TINY Julie looked!!!!! She looked awesome and Hollie looked amazing too. I love both their haircuts!! I noticed that both Hollie and Julie didn't have alot of loose skin when they waved to the crowds, where some of the others you could really see the loose skin flopping around when they waved.
I figured Bill would win, but was suprised when his twin also won too.

I noticed the flappy arms...double waving, lol.
I actually did forgive Neil...I wanted to see him at the end.

I was happy for the twins winning, but I was kind of bummed because I was rooting for one of the girls to win. Julie was soooo close! She was gorgeous! I dont' think there was another ounce left on her she could lose. I'm looking forward to the new one, but I hope it's not just a bunch of whining and fighting. And I'm bummed that they're making Jillian out to be the meanie/bad guy. If I ever had to walk in these people's shoes, Jillian would be my first pick as trainer. She is consistent with producing contestants with high percentages of weight loss. The producers will hurt the show if they do not keep her on.

She would be my first pick too if I wanted to see results. Bob is my second choice but that's b/c he is eye candy for me and would motivate me to want to work out just to go see him

Thanks for posting this. We were too old to stay up that late to watch it!
I was rooting for Julie to win.

My dh calls this "Oprah Wings"
I was happy that Bill won. It was kind of a bummer that his brother did too, but also very motivating, they must have really supported each other.
Julie looked absolutely amazing and Hollie was gorgeous!!!! What I like about this finale is that not all the women were super skinny at the end. Isabeau lost so much weight and looked great and so pretty, yet still curvy. She was a good example of a woman can be healthy and curvy at the same time.
I think Jillian would make me cry, but I'm a wimp like that
