I dont mean Sixteen Candles or anything like that but real classics! What are some of your favorites or have you never watched any?

I love anything with Cary Grant, Rodk Hudson, Doris Day to name a few. AMC used to be a great spot to catch!

Topper was my first Cary Grant flick!

What are some of your favorites????

Doris Day and Lucille Ball are my favorite actresses. Love all of their movies! I also like Jane Powell, Rock Hudson, and Howard Keel.

Some of my favorite movies are:
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Pillow Talk
Clamity Jane
Move Over Darling
Lover Come Back
Yours, Mine and Ours

and so many others. I love watching TCM.

Mildred Pierce with Joan Crawford
Gone With the Wind!
Home from the Hill with George Hamilton when he was real young

DH loves all old movies and knows the most obscure ones, quoting lines and the whole shebang... DS1's favorite all time movie if the old Creature from the Black Lagoon.

YES!! When I was in high school, my sister and I would spend entire weekends at my Aunts house, and that's what we'd do. Every Sun. morning, we'd sit around and watch Shirley Temple, Charile Chan, and others...And now my DD has some Shirley Temple movies and loves them too!! I especially love anything with Jimmy Stewart in it...And I love Dean Martin, Elvis movies, Henry Fonda...the list goes on!!

The first time I ever saw Casablanca was at the Music Box theater (their 100th anniversary) in Chicago - ON THE BIG SCREEN!! (In 1990, or 91)

I love THE BAD SEED. Its from the fifties so I consider it a classic. It is a great movie. One of those you just happen to stumble upon and fall in love. Rented it at the library on VHS in 2000 and now I own it on dvd! Its supposedly a horror movie although since its from the fifties it was about a little girl that is a Murderer and that just didn't happen back then in the movies I guess.
