Question Any else never watched American Idol....

and not really care to? I guess I don't watch that much tv in the first place, but I am feeling like I am the only person left in the USA who has never watched American Idol and really does not care about it. I usually watch our FOX tv news (since it is on at 9) and everynight they have a "news" segment about American Idol

I didnt watch until the third season, all the hype I decided to give it a try and now its a favorite

On another note, I have never watched Survivor!

I quit watching it this season & I don't miss it. I watch Fox news too, and they are always talking about AI, but so far this season thats all I've seen!!

*I saw the 1st 10 minutes of the 1st Survivor and that was it, I haven't watched it since, Its just not my THING, I guess.

Once, the very first season, I watched the last 10 minutes or so in college at a sorority rush event, when Kelly Clarkson won. And that was it. I didn't stick around for the sorority or the following seasons of the show. I just really don't care for Reality TV. There's nothing anyone can say to convince me that it's "unscripted", or "real".

I don't watch American Idol and I never have. I often feel like I'm the only one in the world who doesn't watch it, either.

My sister never watched until last year & now she's hooked. My best friend has never watched it. I feel that way about that dance show everyone watches - Dancing w/ the Stars. Have never gotten into that.

I've watched it in the past but have lost interest in it now. Only parts i watch are the try-outs when the really bad singers are on so that i can have a good laugh!
