Are there any Karen Kingsbury fans out there? I cried my way through the Redemption series and the first 2 books of the Fame series. I was just on her web site yesterday and saw that the 3rd book in the Fame series comes out next month. I can't wait! I'll be sure to buy a new box of kleenex's before than.

What books of hers have you read? Have you read any of the Redemption series yet?

She also has a children's book that made me cry in the middle of a crowd of people. The book is about a mom and her little boy. The book says you always remember all the firsts in a child's life (first smile, first step, etc.) but what about all the lasts. The last time you carry them, the last time you read them a bedtime story. I'm getting teary just typing this...

I love her books. The Firstborn series was awesome, and I can't wait to read the next ones (Fame?). I need to see if my library here has gotten any of them in yet.

I'm in the middle of Ocean's Apart right now. I promised myself to read at least one book before I start school in two weeks and this is the one I chose. It was recommended by a friend. I love it. I know nothing about her or her series of books so any suggestions as to what to read next of hers would be greatly appreciated!
