A recap to help you remember:

#1. Asia'h Epperson--"I Wanna Dance With Somebody"
I thought she was good.

#2. Kady Malloy--"Who Wants to Live Forever"
Okay..pretty good.

#3. Amanda Overmyer--"I Hate Myself For Loving You"
MUCH better this week...really good, I'm sure she's safe.

#4. Carly Smithson--"I Drove All Night"
Very good tonight...definitely safe. I just wish she'd wear long sleeves

#5. Kristy Lee Cook--"Faithfully"
I thought she was really good. The problem is she and Kady Malloy look so much alike it's hard to keep them straight.

#6. Ramiele Malubay--"Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)"
Good, but for some reason I'm just not crazy about her. And her hair drives me nuts.

#7. Brooke White--"Love is a Battlefield"
This was my favorite performance of the night personally. I loved how she took this rock type song and performed it more as a folk song with only an acoustic guitar for accompaniment. Very clever I thought.

#8. Syesha Mercado--"Saving All My Love For You"
Good although I thought she hit a few sour notes.

All in all there was no one I hated. I thought the standouts were Brooke, Amanda & Carly.

My usual favorite was Brooke I thought Amanda did very well and for sure made up from last week

I think Kady and Kristie will go home but I would not mind seeing Ashia'h for some reason I dont care for her!

#1. Asia'h Epperson--"I Wanna Dance With Somebody"
Loved it. I think she sang it nicely with her gravelly voice. She's one of our ultimate faves for the girls. I hope she doesn't screw herself over by picking the big songs every week.

#2. Kady Malloy--"Who Wants to Live Forever"
*snoring* I thought we were supposed to find her personality this week..... all I found was a cardboard box with an old tape of Queen playing inside. She's probably gone this week.

#3. Amanda Overmyer--"I Hate Myself For Loving You"
Um I actually didn't hate her performance this week. It was actually pretty good - although this week you could actually hear her lyrics, she toned down the freaky look, and she did a pretty good job. (And I wish one of these times she'd come out with her bandana on - she looks normal like that!)

#4. Carly Smithson--"I Drove All Night"
"Very good tonight...definitely safe. I just wish she'd wear long sleeves" -- amen. but - her makeup has gotten considerably better than it was in auditions (thank heavens she threw that AWFUL gold shimmer eyeshadow out.. blegh)

#5. Kristy Lee Cook--"Faithfully"
*snoring* This week was boring. And a little pitchy. And the song was too big for her. Bye bye.

#6. Ramiele Malubay--"Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)"
Good, but not as good as previous weeks. I'm so glad she had her hair down this week - I was getting tired of the half swept-up hairdo. I hope she makes it through - she's one of my faves.

#7. Brooke White--"Love is a Battlefield"
TOTALLY fave of the night (and one of our ultimate girl faves). I agree with Simon in that the only way it worked (and worked so well) was because she simplified it with just the single acoustic guitar. I'm anxious to see her play piano one of these performances.

#8. Syesha Mercado--"Saving All My Love For You"
Good although I thought she hit a few sour notes. - Agree. DH and I wish she had taken on a more upbeat song.

All in all, Kady and Kristy will probably go home.

DH thinks Asia'h and Kady for going home tonight. I say Kady and I'm not sure I have a toos up between Ramiele, Asia'h and Kristy, though I didn't think hers was horrible.

Loved that Amanda was "back". Leigh I thought of Evan as soon as she started signing and knew he'd be happy
Is that an Amy Winehouse Tattoo on Carley's arm? I spent her whole performance looking at that instead of paying full attention to what I thought was a good song (And I am NOT a fan of hers).

I liked Brooke's but I kept waiting for it to pick up...It was good, but it was just the familiarity of the song and knowing it's original went up tempo.

I'm glad to hear so many people enjoyed Amanda. I was afraid she might be in dangerous of going home. Personally I think Kady will probably go.

Asia’h Epperson - “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston iTunes
----Pretty girl, did a nice job. By the end of the show, I'd forgotten about her tho.

Kady Malloy - “Who Wants to Live Forever” by Queen iTunes
---Buh bye. That was awful.

Amanda Overmyer - “Hate Myself for Loving You” by Joan Jet iTunes
---She redeemed herself. They want her on the tour so they have a good mix, so she'll be top 10.

Carly Smithson - “I Drove All Night” by Cyndi Lauper iTunes
---The girl has a good voice, but I'm not finding much personality. I hated this song choice as well. She's safe.

Kristy Lee Cook - “Faithfully” by Journey iTunes
---For someone who had a real record contract already, she's not doing well at all. I'd say buy-bye to her too, except DialIdol is not showing her in the bottom 2, so who knows.

Ramiele Malubay - “Against All Odds” by Phil Collins iTunes
---Not as strong as previous weeks, but she's got tons of talent. I'd like to see her do something more up tempo.

Brooke White - “Love is a Battlefield” by Pat Benetar iTunes
---She's my favorite girl. Not the strong power-voice, but indy folk-girl types don't need that. I love how she took this song and made it fit her, I love how she was able to convey a ton of emotion while just sitting there - something Carrie Underwood couldn't do if her clothes were on fire.

Syesha Mercado - “Saving All My Love For You” by Whitney Houston iTunes
---Like Asia'h, I think she's very pretty w/ a very good voice. DialIdol shows her in the bottom 2, but I think KristiLee Cook should go home before her.
