I am such a dork!! I was checking on their website for tickets in WI and I noticed that they were signing autographs today in NYC at the Disney store. My Aunt and Uncle just went there for a long weekend so I called her up and asked if she would go and she said YES!!! Lexi is going to be so excited because she is obsessed with those freaks!! Like my Aunt and Uncle have nothing better to do, but hey they asked what they could get her!

If you ask my kids how mommy feels about the DoodleBops, Carson and Parker will say, "They freak her out." That is the truth, too. THere is something about them that I can't wrap my mind around. I also don't like the obviously flaming Moe.

Isn't that just silly, how kids go crazy over those goofy looking people. My DH was flipping channels one weekend & DD said Dad I want to watch cartoons. He turned it back to Doodlebops & he said "THIS?, you don't want to watch this, they're dumb" (ok maybe he didn't say dumb, those probably aren't his exact words). And now every time they are on, I ask "do you want to watch The Doodlebops?", she says "no cuz my daddy told me their dumb." It's too cute.

Lexi likes clowns doesn't she? I'm terrified of clowns (hmm...no wonder the Burger King Guy scares me) ....And the doodlebops freak me out too! Did she get the autograph?

Awe. I'm sorry she's gonna miss out. Yes, my boys love that cartoon. I can't sit thru the whole thing myself tho.

I find them scary. My son did, too, at first. He also found the characters on Hi-Five scary, too. I think it's the fake smiles - too big, and creepy voices and movements. At least the Wiggles just act silly. Then again, my son didn't like Teletubbies at first, either, which made dh happy. That changed, though, but now he thinks their just weird, but thinks they're OK for little sis.
