What former American Idols do you actually have music by?

Can you tell I'm on an American Idol kick this morning???

Just curious who you have music by? I've liked many of the contestants, but not enough to pay for their music The only ones I've got are Kelly Clarkson (bought dd the CD and downloaded a song or two onto my ipod), Clay Aiken (have the Christmas album and Invisible I think), Daughtry (downloaded a few songs off itunes), and Carrie Underwood (again...downloaded a song or two). I also have the Christmas album by all the top contestants on season 2....Reuben, Clay, Kimberly Locke, etc. and Kelly Clarkson sings "Oh Holy Night" on it.

So what about you? What CDs have you bought? Who have you downloaded? Who have you cared enough about to spend money on?

I got Clay Aiken cd as a Christmas gift one year, Carrie Underwood got that free through the mail

and I have 3 or 4 of the American Idol cd's and most of these I got as gifts.

I have both Carrie Underwood CDs and Kelly Clarkson's first 2 CDs (although they were all gifts so I didn't technically spend my own money on them).

I have bought the American Idol Top Ten CD for my stepmom every year for her birthday.

I have thought about downloading certain songs, but I usually check the CDs out of the library first. Usually by the end of the three weeks that I have them, I am a little tired of them so I don't bother. I have saved a ton of money that way - in the past year or so there has only been one CD I wanted enough to actually buy it after listening to it for three weeks (and that was Carrie Underwood's new one, so I asked my dad to get it for me!)

I have Carrie Underwood's 1st CD and look forward to getting her second.

Other than that I have a little bit of this and that (like a song or two) dowloaded from other constants ~ Kelly Clarkson, Bucky Covington, Jordan Sparks, Josh Gracin, Kellie Pickler...

Daughtry and Josh Gracin are the only former AI contestant CD's I have. I have downloaded Kellie Pickler, Bucky Covington. (can you tell my heart is in country

) and Kelly Clarkson songs. I will never own a Carrie Underwood CD though. She's okay, but I don't like her...does that make sense?

ETA: I also downloaded a few of Bo Bice's songs I think I'm getting the latest CD....

I've only bought Taylor's stuff. His Idol CD and his 2 previous CDs he's released himself (which are worlds better than the Idol CD). I also have some live pre-idol recordings as well (performing at clubs/bars). Once I figure out how to do it, I plan to download the Itunes version of Michael Johns' song from Dolly Parton night - It's All Wrong but It's Alright. I really liked that performance. And I'll download most of Jason's as well. Assuming I can figure out how to do it & convert them to mp3's to put on my Ipod. When Brooke & Jason come out w/ their own CDs (assuming they do) I will listen to them to see if I want to buy them.
I listened to Daughtry's, Elliott Yamin's and Bucky Covington's (even though I don't like country) but didn't buy them. There were a few songs I liked on Bucky's and Elliott's but not enough to bother with. Listened to McPhee's as well. What a waste that was. I pretty much despised all of last year's group.
I am considering the new Bo Bice CD. I really liked him that season over Carrie Underwood. He has a new CD out that I've heard good things about but I haven't heard any of it other than the single the other night on the show. That was "just OK", but there might be better songs on the CD.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Michael John's version of that...and I want Jasons Over the Rainbow and 1 other one I can't remember the name of it, but it was in one of the Shrek movies (Oh my, how sad is that?!) I can hear it in my head.....

Carrie Underwood, Clay Aiken, Daughtry and Josh Gracin. The Daughtry Cd is great, I bought it for dh but I listen to it more.
