Anyone watch it? I was happy to see a normal size woman win it. Finally we can accept that we do not have to be stick thin to be beautiful. Maybe the media and designers can take a lesson from this and start making clothing that actually covers something! I have an 11 year old daughter who is not stick thin and it is not easy buying clothes that are "stylish", affordable, and cover her up.

I didn't really watch it this season except flipping over during commercials, but I was glad that a "plus sized" model won it. Although I think it's sort of funny that they consider a size 12 or 14 plus sized. She wasn't bigger than a 12 was she?

Actually, if she wasn't next to all those "skinny" ones she would probably look slim herself. I agree- she was probably a size 12. What is considered "plus size" anyway? Isn't the average now 12-14?

I just flipped there every now and again as well. And I also thought the one that won looked "average" to me and not plus-size. But I guess in the modeling world, she is a lot bigger than most and that's why they kept referring to her as plus-sized.

When they were doing the go sees, she said something about being a size 10. I am thrilled that Whitney won!!!!
