I've been cheering David Cook on from the beginning but he is so different from past winners I didn't know if he'd have a chance. We went crazy last week when he did a Switchfoot song. The Beautiful Letdown CD is one of my favorite CDs of all time.

I'm not even sure if I will vote. I like both of them for different reasons. I think David A is too cute in that "pinch his cheeks" kind of way, but I can't really see him appealing to much except prepubescent girls at this point. I like David Cook and think he might be able to have the Daughtry type success, but I'm not sure that if he has to do an American Idol produced CD that it will be as good for him as if he did something on his own. I'm not sure how well they do with rock (did they do Daughtry's or did someone else?) But I wish them both well and can't wait to see the finals.

Oops, I think I put David A instead of C on mistake. Any, it doesn't matter I am not voting. I do like David Cook better, but at this point it doesn't matter for him, he will do well either way.
Early in the compition is when I vote, so my favorite can stay in, when it gets down to the final 3, they usually are good enough for a deal.

Word is that Archie will be singing "Imagine" for his repeat song, which I am not looking forward to. Supposedly Clive's choice for him is "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" which is odd because he's given that to one or two others before, so I'm wondering why Clive doesn't know more songs. No spoilers yet on cookie.

I think david A. should win and get molded into the "pop singer" ... and I think david c could use the time more wisely doing what he wants with his music.

I will not vote though.... they both have enough hard core fans with out me messing it up!
