Reading my trusty TV Guide and there is another story about Papa Archuleta!

"Ryan Seacrest flipped a coin, which had Archuleta's face on one side and Cooks on the other, to dertermine the performance order in the May 20th showdown. When Archuleta won, he looked to dad Jeff in the audience for guidance. Dad held up two fingers, and David announced he'd perform second.(5 of the last winners have sung last).

I feel sorry for him to be that controlled.

Acdording to the writer of this article she said she was there before the Jeff ban (in rehearsal) and that the dad said to her "I'm supposed to just sit here and not say anything" he said, clearly frustrated."I'm the kind of guy who likes to make things hanppen, so its hard" He then stressed he was very,very proud of his son, even if he wasnt satisfied with the rehearsal "Davids a great kid he said there are no words."

Defintly has control issues!
