My kids are watching pbskids sprout for the first time in a while tonight...looks like they replaced Melanie? This new guy is just kind of strange to me. His voice sounds amazingly like Bear in the Big Blue House, wonder if he is the voice of Bear? I'm kind of disappointed they didn't replace Melanie with another female. Oh well!

Yes he is the voice of bear his real name is Noel MacNeal. My DS was terrified of Bear a few years ago and he recognized the voice....amazing what kids remember!

I watch on Friday nights with my DGD, she doesn't like the man. She asked me why they changed. Of course, I don't know and that's what I told her.

I am glad they got rid of Melanie. She was awful. As for her replacement, he is not much better. They really need to revamp and not just the person.
