Cheaper alternative to frozen sausage biscuits?

My dh loves taking those frozen sausage biscuits to work and eating them on his break. The cheapest I found is the Great Value Brand. You get 12 regular size biscuits and sausage for $4.98. That doesn't seem bad but that only lasts a week so for a month supply it's right at $20.00.

Is there a cheaper way to make these myself?

When purchasing poultry like turkey, look for the biggest bird you can. Because you’re also paying for bones, larger birds have more meat per pound than smaller ones. Wrap leftovers in heavy freezer paper store in your freezer for up to 3-4 months. Use throughout the winter in soups and casseroles.

Also, look for free Turkey promotions. Many supermarkets will offer a free turkey with a minimum purchase this time of year. For example, you can get one at Safeway by shopping online: http://mommysavers.com/boards/grocer...ml#post1102723

We are a single income family...me, my hubby, our 21 month old, and our 13 week old who is breastfed. We have not been doing very good with our budget and I'm really trying to tighten down. Realistically we only have about $70 to spend each week on groceries. We've been spending about $150 a week which we really can't afford. I try to buy a lot of healthy stuff plus me and my 21month old can't eat wheat or dairy so there's some specialty items we have to buy. Is it possible to feed 3 people healthy meals on a budget of $70 a week??

I'd like to cold brew a coffee concentrate (not syrup, something like espresso but cold) to reduce the amount of acidity in the coffee. I am brewing up a Porter and would like to add coffee to it for flavor and I've read that cold brewing and/or steeping produces the smoothest coffee flavor w/o the increase in caffeine and acidity. Caffeine is not a big deal to me but the acidity is.
