A woman that I go to church with, was picking clothes that she had cleaned. Her bill was $98.32. :eek:

She also brought in last week clothes. When she left my friend said that she always brings in clothes to be clean and pressed every week.

I hate doing laundry, but I can't see paying that every week.

In my house we would rather do a Brunch. We started this tradition a few years ago when I always had to go to work at 3pm on Christmas day,so we weren't rushed through a big meal. We enjoy having a nice brunch with quiche, onion roasted potoatoes, bacon, spiral ham, sausage, french toast casserole, fresh fruit, coffee, juice, muffins, or whatever else we want. Then I just put little snacks out during the day like cheese and crackers, shrimp and cocktail sauce, pickles and stuff like that. We usually have a dessert around the time we would eat a big meal and it is pretty much enough food for the day.

My mom usually hosts a large family dinner on Christmas eve, so it evens out for us.

I got 7 pairs of jeans for my son and daughter, a jacket for my son, a shirt for myself, 3 nice shirst from Sears for my son and a pyjamas for my daughter. All of it in new condition. I paid 80.00 for it all. I can only imagine how much it would have been bought brand new.

I'll be making another trip there pretty soon. But I will make sure to look when the sale are happening. They we're having a 50% sale on all the clothes tomorow, but I am working and will not have the time to go.
