Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork (or chicken or turkey)

1 (16oz) can cranberry sauce
1/3 cup French or Catalina salad dressing
1 package onion soup mix
1 (3 lb) boneless pork loin roast (or any other cut you like)

Season roast with salt & pepper and brown all sides in a skillet before slow cooking.

In a bowl mix cranberry sauce, dressing and soup mix. Set aside.

Place meat in slow cooker, pour cranberry mixture over meat. If desired (and I generally desire LOL) add some garlic or whatever other seasoning you like to the meat.

Cover and cook on high for 4 hour or on low for 8 hours.

TIP~ all slow cookers can cook slightly faster or slower than the next so I tend to always give myself some wiggle room regardless of what the recipe says...the roast may be ready as soon as 3 hours if cooked on high or 6-7 on low.
