My oldest dd is in a booster with the regular seatbelt. When we pull in the yard she can get out of her seat. Now ds and my younger dds try to get out of their carseat. DS even had his arms out while we were driving...I had to stop and make sure it was buckled again.

Do your kids do this and how did you get them to stop?

mini dd has had a cough cold for about 6 weeks now! 3 wks ago it turned into a sinus infection, which they gave her anti's for, and now it is back. When I tell the ped, they say she sounds clear, more likely allergies.... I dunno but I hate it! AGH!

How do you teach kids this age about strangers without scaring them to death? My girls will be 3 in a few months and they have started talking to everyone they see when they go in stores. I want them to be friendly but want them to be safe too.

Ideas for Daycare Teachers Gift

So, DD#2 goes to daycare and has 5 different women who work with her with varying ages (high school to grandmothers). This is a home based day care so one is also the owner. In past years, it has been two teachers, but this year it has increased to the 5 part time teachers. Any ideas on a gift that can be spread across or something that won't break the bank when I have to buy it for five people?

Thanks!

Lately my DS (2) has been picking up and repeating words or phrases he definitely didn't hear from my DH or I. He's too little to realize what he's saying and it has happened a few times in public. I'm not sure what to say or do. I try hard not to react but it's so disheartening and sometimes quite embarrassing. Has this happened to to anyone else? What do you do?

DS is 3 1/2, and he still won't eat veggies! Anyone else dealing with this problem also?

If I cut things up really small, I can sometimes hide them in his dishes. But to pick up a veggie on his own? Nope, not gonna happen! I hate sneaking things in his meals, but he needs the veggies. What else can I do?

My ds is 4 and still needs help with eating some foods. He also has to be reminded to stay at the table and sit in his chair the right way. I think some of it is to get more attention because we are feeding the younger kids.
