My dd had one present that she wanted so bad that's looking like it's going to be a bust. She wanted magnetic earrings, but they don't seem to be working out. The pull on the magnets is so strong that it pinches the ears. I tried them on my ears and they do pinch. My dh's trying a few things like puttings some fabric tape on each end so they don't pinch so much, but it may not work out.

Anyone else?

My oldest dd and ds wanted a Fur Real Friend so they each got a cat. DD left hers on last night and it woke her up meowing. Now they basically pay them no attention.

My DD got an Operation game too.

I think there's a switch where you can turn the sound off.

We got DS (5) the "I Can Play Guitar". First, we had a heck of a time getting it to work on the TV. Then, the batteries died. okay, fine that happens. But when I put new ones they didn't work either. He's very bummed. He loved walking around playing it and trying to play with the TV. I'm bummed too. I wanted to try it!

My son hated the buzzing, sound and feel, from Operation, too. He can bear it better now, but still doesn't want to play.

I was so thrilled when I got the EasyBake Oven for $14 for diva, but at wrapping time, DH noticed it was for age 8 and up, not 3 yrs! So that had to go back. DS was so thrilled to get his Idog and MP3 player, but mom is so non-technically inclined that I haven't gotten it all figured out yet and the instructions on the MP3 player are horrible and in broken English.

And they LOVED their Webkinz, but 3 of them had holes in them and needed to be exchanged! It's happened before with Webkinz, too. They were so disappointed at first when they found the holes. Thankfully, those ones were bought at a local Hallmark, so I was able to exchange 2 of them, but have to wait for another shipment to do the third.

But they had a nice Christmas and were actually quite appreciative of Santa.
