So do where you fall in birth order and what your siblings are determines your personality to a degree?

I am the oldest and only girl. I have always been a take charge leader person, and I MOM everyone! My brothers hate it! I am 25 and my brothers are 23, 19, and 14. I still MOM them even the 23 year old! LOL! I have always been the "mom" at places I have worked even with friends the same age.

What do you guys think??

I am actually the middle child, oldest girl.

I do not "mother" any of my siblings.

Im the eldest with two younger brothers, my closest brother is 4 years younger than me and the youngest is ten.

My brother moved in with me while we went to University - and we are more like best friends - however while he is a no stress kinda person I stress about everything and need to be in control. He says why does he have to worry if Im going to sort it out anyway.

The youngest is now 18 and is an idiot - probably because he has just turned 18.

I'm the oldest. My sister is 3 years younger than me.
I never mothered her - our mother was too much mother already.

I am the youngest girl. I am not mothered by any of my sibs but they do treat me like I don't know what I am talking about and my one sister thinks I'm spoiled. WHATEVER, get over it already!

The "mother" in my house growing up was the second oldest girl not the oldest girl. The oldest brother did get pissed when my real mom asked me to help her with her bank information. Now the oldest boy handles all the bank stuff, of which I could care less gives me less to do.

The second oldest boy, (second to the youngest) stays out of everything, personally I think he's the smartest.

In my family with my kids my oldest is the control freak like her grandmother (oldest) and her father (oldest). I am sort of a control freak as well (youngest but it has nothing to do with birth order but life circumstances). The middle child is my nuturer and the youngest is wild (like me).

I am the youngest and have 2 older siblings a brother and sister and the only one that does once and a great while is my sister but it's nothing that is annoying.
