Thanks for the websites. I favorited (not a word, I know) all of them. I put a note in ds lunch box everday. I run out things to write.

My 8 yr old DS said he hates it when I put notes in his lunch box. I still did occassionally but I think it embarrassed him.

last year i made heart and butterfly sandwiches for dd and she loves them. i will do the same this year. and i am going to add the lunchbox notes to. she will love those!!!

Thank you! Last year I wrote my own--everyday. DD7 had a hard time adjusting to being gone all day. She loved getting notes from mom.

I also hand wrote one every day for my ds last year---half the time ds(7) didn't read them. My dd(5) is going into kindergarten and I know she will appreciate them. Thanks, OP!
