This an article that every parent (or at least every parent that may possibly buy their child a convenience food or take their child out to eat) should read!

The 20 Worst Kids Foods in America - Page 1 - MSN Health & Fitness - Kids' Health

I knew there were a lot of deceiving foods, but this was crazy. Those Bob Evans potatoes! My word! That is insane! We don't do fast food, but this makes me re-think even more restaurants and snacks.

It's good to be informed.

If you have time, click on the links within the article. Even more good info.

Wow. Several surprised me. The 1,000+ calorie turkey minis (maybe there was a HUGE serving of fries or something ?), the PB&J, the fact the the fries were better than the potatoes, and on and on.

I would have never thought fries were better.

Great info! I couldn't believe the calorie count on some of those. I was pleased to see we didn't really buy any of those products ... though several of the restaurants weren't anywhere around us.

Thanks for sharing.

Well, I got dinged on the Captain Crunch. I wish I never offered it to dd. She has been obsessed with it for a few weeks I'll buy the Clifford Crunch and try to get her to eat it.

Thanks for sharing!

The only one we got a ding on was the Sunny D. The kids love it, but I don't buy it real often. I guess I won't be buying it anymore! Unbelievable with the Burger King Double Cheeseburger, Fries, and drink the amount of calories and sodium in it. It's a definite eye opener!!
