I agree with this. If I think about taking a pill, I can feel my throat close. If I think about something else, I can take two rather large pills at the same time. Mind over matter! Now ds will be entirely different. He had bad reflux as a baby and often gags on food and has texture issues. His ped. said the reflux will 'follow' him until he is about 12 or so and even then will have a sensitive stomach.
