Just wondering if your kids made it to midnight! My 13 yr old, no problem!!! My 6.5 yr old was tired early, but refused to go to bed. I carried him upstairs about 11:20 and he was asleep immediately! The 8 yr old went to bed about 11:20 too and was up for maybe 20 minutes after that. My 9 yr old went to bed at the same time as the others and told me he was going to stay awake until his clock said 12, but when dh checked 5 minutes later, he was sleeping!! We put the 3 yr old to sleep at 9.

Oh my goodness!!! I didn't make it!! I had been up since 4:00 a.m. and laid down around 9:00 p.m. to take a little nap~~well we all fell asleep! This was the first year since I can remember that I was not awake to ring in the new year. It is amazing what age can do to you!

Nope! We had two families and their kids over. Everyone left by 10:40 and my kids were more than happy to celebrate New Year's with folks on the East coast! They were in bed by 11:10. I felt kind of lame but everyone's been sick lately so we just aren't party animals any more!

Both of mine made it, and they are 9 and 5! They were determined! They both went to bed immediately after midnight, they were wore out, LOL!

From the 2 year old to the twelve year old they made it to the New Year. My youngest had no idea what he was celebrating but he was celebrating. Mom and dad would have been just fine not ringing in the New Year.

Heck no.... they were sound asleep by 10:30.... I was awake, but not by my own choice...We were staying at my parents and the people across the street set off fireworks. I got up to watch a few.
