Question Choosing a school

What things do (did) you consider when deciding what school to send your children too? Private, public, charter??? Location? Religion? Curriculum? Test scores???

Everything you listed...except for me, location is probably on the bottom of the list provided it's within 10 miles or so. Curriculum and test scores are the first things I look at and then the percentages of children graduating, going to college etc A school tour can really show you a lot and then also having your child shadow for a day at a possible school can help too, just depends on the age of the child.
