My DH has been in the Air Nat'l Guard for 16 yrs he will be retiring in less than 4 yrs with full benefits. Hopefully he will have all of his schooling completed by then because he wants to go into elementary education. Luckily we haven't had to move anywhere we have been able to stay here for the 16 yrs he has been in. I would love to see the world but I would miss my family too much!

My DH is retired but we still are apart of the military. We are here in GA.

Dh is in the army. We're currently in Fort Benning, GA but will be moving in about 5 weeks to Fort Gordon, GA.

Grandfather who raised me was Army Air Corp, DH is Army (15 years now!), and stepson is looking forward to AIT this summer (took Basic/split option last summer), having signed up with Nat'l Guard, switching to Army active duty ASAP once he's got his HS diploma. We're at Ft. Eustis, VA.
Hubby's getting out on Medical Boards soon tho... damaged himself beyond belief over the years, and now has Degenerative Disc Disease (3 back surgeries), had 5 knee surgeries, carpal tunnel surg on each wrist & ulnar nerve transposition on one arm.
Life out of the Army? I can hardly fathom the idea...

My husband is active Navy stationed at Port Hueneme, CA. We live in Long Beach but in March he will transfer to Miramar with the Marines. They say that they might deploy next year but I have a feeling that with all this increasing the military in Iraq, that it might be sooner than later. Hoping and praying that not-at-all!

Where did my baby go

We are Army, for almost 10 years now. Still stationed in Heidelberg going to Ft. Bragg at the end of the year.

I am a newly wed....technically... to a Marine. We were married in Aug. & 3 weeks later he deployed to Iraq for a 7 months tour.We had dated for almost 4 years before we were married. He will be returning today to Hawaii where he is stationed (WOOHOO!!!!:happy dance: ) & I will be moving to Hawaii with him in May. I currently still live with my parents here in Tennessee . I'm new to this life style...& marriage....this is definatly a learning experience! But I'm loving it so far!
