My boys did not have school today, but my daughter did!! The elementary (k-3) and intermediate (4-6) schools did not have school today, but the jr. high (7-8) and high school did!!! The had conferences for the lower grades. It just seems really odd to me that 2 schools in the district wouldn't have school and 2 would!!! Anyone else ever had anything like this?

Our school district does that. The elementary has their first conference in October but middle and high school is supposed to be in November. Our school has rescheduled the conference for middle and h.s. twice and we had bad weather that cancelled them. Now the reschedlued 3rd had to be cancelled to make up the days that we missed because of more bad weather.
So now no conferences until May ( again I am taking over posts I'm sorry!!)
All I can say is thank goodness for grades online!

we had off for teacher planning, end of quarter. I think our school district has done a much better job this year with the days off.
