If it is a project to do at home, prehaps you could "make up" a house layout with your child and have him choose the rooms where he wants people to sleep. That way although your child has had fun taking part you can still feel your child is safe.

I would just label bedroom without designation. also name on back. I would also ask teacher not to display anywhere if you are concerned.
