Hasd to share went for meeting with my daughters teacher and principal yesterday because she was having some troubles at school and found out she is ahead of all the other first grade kids on her reading she is at the top of the chart.I just had to brag because I was impressed with her after finding that out before when we got to the school I was not to happy but after we found out she was doing that good in reading I was so happy.

My daughter is 5 and is in preschool and they are constantly making comments about her being "Junie B"

I am not familiar with these books ...

are their comments good or bad???

Can I ask if you don't mind what your husband has against the Junie B. books.I don't know to much about them just know my daughter really likes them they we're the first chapter book she found and wanted .I will have to check out these other ones you mention and see if she would like them too.

Junie B Jones uses language such as "stupid", "dumb", and others that my kids consider "bad words".
My dd, first grade also, likes Magic Tree House too. There is also a Princess Elle series.
