My ex is not at all involved with my son.My son has the option if he so chooses at any time,but would rather eat his eyes.My ex intentionally did everything he could against all specialists orders,he was a real jerk .My son is much better off,but i still support my son's opinion whatever it may become.I do not tell him anything to sway his opinion,but they find out by asking your friends or family.I just try to stay neutral.
