Basically...I think someone I know is on the verge of a nervous breakdown and their husband is about to leave for overseas.

It's a long story though.

take her to life skills to see a dr if you have one at the base hospital.

I don't have a whole lot of faith in military doctors. Is life skills a course the Army does automatically for wives?

Also this isn't his first trip to Iraq so she know exactly how hard it's going to be....

Is there family support center?? They can help her get referrals to counselors, etc that are not necessarily military drs if that is an issue. But, sounds like she definitely needs some sort of outside help to deal, espcially if her Dh is leaving.

Also tricare I dont think you need a referral for counselors in town. Have her call and find out.
