What are some things you will be doing? I got some little (already painted) wooden "thingies" at Hobby Lobby...a butterfly, a train, a lady bug, a flower, a dumptruck, etc....and then I bought a package of round button magnets. I hot glued the magnets on the back of the wooden "thingies" (LOL lol) and we are putting those in some tissue paper along with a note saying how much we have appreciated the year with them. It was cheap (like less than a dollar for TWO magnets per teacher) and it was easy! I also know that ALL of my kids' teachers have file boxes that they use magnets on. Most teachers to!

Is that this week? Do most of you try to do something every day?

It is actually next week....and our elementary school sent an idea sheet out to all room moms (me), suggesting events for each day of the week. We have favorite treat day, bring a smile to her face day, thank you note day, classroom supply day, etc. It all ends with a big lunch for the teachers.

My older daughter's school does something similar. My younger daughter's preschool asks for $10 and they have a big pamper party/lunch for the teachers. They usually do some beauty treatment and have lunch catered.

I am doing the daily small gift for DD #1s main teacher and I got Blockbuster gift cards for her special area teachers. Not very budget friendly but I didn't do Christmas gifts for the special area teachers. So that's my justification.

I need some easy, cheap ideas. No one around here seems to care about doing anything for the teachers, but I really would like to.

One thing I am going to do is take a bowl of mints to the teachers lounge and put a sign saying "You're worth a mint!!" Need some other ideas though.

we do a school wide event. monday is breakfast, weds is lunch, friday is spa day, and other days teachers are picked for free gifts/surprises. everyday a poem is read (that was written by a student) thanking teachers.

I could really use some great, frugal ideas on this. I'm not crafty, nor do I have time right now, plus I'm not getting out much w/a sick baby.

I'd really like to do appreciation things, but I'm already kicking in toward a year end party and teacher gift - that will be $30-$40 there.

Last year, everyone did flowers - she had too many. Frugal things?
