Do you do something for the teachers at the end of the year? Traditionally, I have not, but I am planning on writing out thank you notes to my boys' teachers this year because I think all 3 of the teachers did an excellent job of helping my boys adjust when we moved in November.

I do always give a gift...the past few years I've been giving potted flowers that they can put in their yards/gardens/windowboxes. Not sure what I'm doing this year yet - I have been toying with the idea of getting all the teachers the Willow Tree figurine either

I am not a fan of Willow Tree myself, but I am having a tough time finding something for all the kids teachers. We're leaving our school after this year because we moved. I LOVE our school! So it will be sad to leave...I'm so involved, I feel like I'm leaving friends, not just staff or teachers or a principal.

Oh yes...I forgot to mention that I do always have the kids write a note/letter to their teacher(s) thanking them for the year, remembering specific things that they enjoyed etc

I stink at thinking of what to right to anyone. I wouldn't know what to suggest ds to write.

Well...for my kids, they always have a favorite project or assignment that they really enjoyed and they like talking about that or maybe something they struggled with but they were glad they go thru it or maybe how a teacher always had a smile or a joke or something to make a difficult subject that much easier. We're never at a loss for words for our teachers!

I  the ideas.

We often go for these Note Pads but we only get one gift a year generally near the end of the year.

The teachers  them and they can really use them.
