I just save up for it. I only have two to worry about and just one right now ever wants to do anything, but it still gets expensive on my salary only.

The father doesn't pay for things like that cause 'he doesn't care if ds plays anything or not'.

Ugh, I just finished paying out for one sport(Cross Country Track), and will pay for the basketball one soon as the season starts for middle school. We have to work into a budget. I just registered the 15yo & 11 yo today, and paid for pictures, yearbooks, etc. I spent most of the morning doing that. $90 per sport in High SAchool, and $60 per sport in Middle School.

Some little league sports organizations have 'family plans' for fees
We had to do fundraisers to cover costs that fees did not.

We also trade off labor to cover fees.
This year Becca is starting new school and had to restart with
Cheer shoes, socks etc and then deposit- if we can not pay for it immediately we can work it off at bingo or working cafeteria at lunch

I have one in sports & the other in horseback lessons. Luckily it hasn't gotten too expensive yet. I don't know how my parents did it. There is 5 of us and we all played sports.
