AHN | Wife Of U.S. Soldier Missing In Iraq Faces Deportation | June 20, 2007

Immigration officials want to deport the wife of a soldier who is missing in Iraq. She is an illegal immigrant but is married to him... they want to send her away from friends and family. How can they do this to a spouse who is grieving her missing and or dead husband? You would think that his service would earn her citizenship.

This is hardly an approprait (SP) time for that crap. At the very least wait until this womans husband is found. Weither it be live or not.

Those of us with military backgrounds know about red tape ,snafu and fubar.

Deportation has been put on 'hold' but it now comes down to local representatives
doing what they need to do.
