When your child swims (underwater) does he/she wear goggles?
You can choose multiple answers.

My ds swims without googles. My dd has to have the googles that cover her eyes and nose.

We bought the kids googles this summer and they have used them about once. They just dont care if water gets in their eyes. Their eyes dont get bothered by the cholrine.

we have both kinds of goggles, and the girls go back and forth between which ones they wear. every summer it seems that they change their mind over which ones they like best. This year they want the ones that cover the nose but last year they liked the ones for just the eyes and wore nose plugs. So I buy the ones that they like on clearance at the end of the season for the next year and the next year they change their minds. LOL

my ds likes his eye/nose goggles. we usually just go to the lake here in billings and he's always wanting to see what he can find under the water. my ds hates goggles and won't wear them at all.

DD swims with no goggles, and the only time DS wears goggles is in the bathtub (it keeps the shampoo out of his eyes )

Mine use goggles some times but not others. Our pool doesn't allow swim masks, proper swim goggles only, so we've never tried them. My kids don't care about water in their eyes, they just like the goggles because lots of their friends have them. Next year when DS#1 starts swim team, he'll really learn what they're for.

At swim lessons at the Y last year, DD and I both got horrible eye infections. We wear goggles all the time now. But only eye goggles. The Y doesn't allow goggles that cover the nose. I though they were silly until I tried that style. I reflexively tried to take a breath in through my nose when I surfaced and nearly choked myself! I ended up taking in some water through my mouth because I wasn't high enough above the water's surface. From then on I was a believer! No more face masks.
