We start the day after Labor Day. For me it's bittersweet because my dd is starting kindergarten & once they start school it seems time flies. Ds is going into 2nd grade. I'll still have my almost 3 yo at home. There has been a lot of fighting and bickering going on around here and I'm sure they are just getting on each others nerves---so school will be a much needed outlet.

My 14 dd started high school this past Monday the 14th for a full day. My ds goes two half days for Kindergarten next week, and then starts full days Mon August the 28th. My dd soon to be 4 Sept 10th, starts Prek Mon Sept 11th. Wow, I will have some free time soon, I am soooo excited!

WI - at least our town starts on Sept. 5th. I am a little sad to see DD go...but am excited to see what she will learn in 1st grade! Also, I get to spend more one on one with my 3 1/2 year old. This year I hope to teach her the ABC's and shapes and things. She knows her numbers and colors. It's funny, with the oldest, she learned her ABC's right away, and her numbers later, and it's just the opposite with the little one. They are so unique! Love them to bits!

Our schools go back on Aug 28 if you are K-9, and Aug 29 if you are 10-12. I have a 5th, 8th and 11th grader this year, so my 5th and 8th graders are jealous of the 11th grader. Our schools let out an hour early everyday for the first week, which is totally rediculous IMO as it was 1st instituted several years ago when the schools weren't ACed b/c it is usually hot here about back to school time. Now though all schools have AC and I see no reason to let the kids out an hour early.

For once in my life I'm actually anxious to see them all go back so that I can have some time to put my house back in order without it being destroyed in less than 5 minutes. Also looking forward to some alone time with 3 YO DD, though I know she will be lost for a week or so after they go back.

102 hours and counting til all 3 are back in school!!!!!!!!!
