Our school district starts on August 22nd unless you are in Kindergarten they start later on the 28th. They give an extra week to have one on one conferences with the teacher and parent/child. It is to help them transition into school.

August 27th.

The school DD went to last year (we decided to switch) is starting August 15th! I have DD signed up for an art class all this week. I'd either have to pull her out of school so she could finish the art class or lose out on sending her for most of this week. It is crazy to start so early.

Preschool-Sept 4

The preschool is not in the school district-self owned. It is a catholilc school. So that is why they start later. I believe and hope that they get out at the same time at the end of the school year. I will have to find that out.

DD will be attending preschool which coincides with our public school system. They start next Monday, AND IT CAN'T COME QUICK ENOUGH FOR ME!!!!!

We start Aug 30. Its always the Thursday before Labor day.

One of my friend's from another board had her kids start JULY 30! Can you imagaine! It was STILL July and they were starting back to school. CRAZY! They live in CA.
