Here is a hypothetical scenerio....what would you do??

You have plans to be somewhere at 7:30. If you are not there at 7:30 you might as well not go at all. Everything is in order, excpet one thing...your childs "practice" is running late. This is going to put you WAY behind schedule. There is NO chance of getting him out early. There is NO chance of a car pool. Because this is your oldest and you need them home to babysit anyway. The absolute ONLY person that you can call to help you is your EX.

What would you do?? Do you call him, or suck it up and have your plans broken??

My X would be the absolute last person on earth that I would call. I doubt that I would even think to call him to be honest. I would just end up breaking my plans before I would even consider calling him.

I would call my ex if it was a last resort--only because he peopbably would be in bed and not come anyway. I love my ex but hes not really much with getting the kids.

It would really depend on my relationship w/my ex, but if it was a tense one, where he would throw it back up in my face later or act like I should bow and kiss his feet, I'd just leave him out of it. It also depends on how important the event is that I am trying to get to. A party - one thing. A class or court date? Quite another.
