Costco has 3 big boxed sets of BOB BOOKS. Collection 1, 2 and 3. Each has 16 books, doorknob hanger, over 100 stickers, parents guide, bookmark. Get this, they are only $9.99. Retail for one smaller set is $16, so that is a great retail price! PLUS they are bigger and thicker than the normal tiny bob books.

In case you don't know what bob books are, they are easy beginning readers. My dd taught herself to read at 3 thanks to these books and starfall.com. You can go to bobbooks.com

They also had a nice educational book selection. The other thing that stands out in my memory is a box set of 4 listening games for your cd player. These retail for $3.88 each at Target (I know b/c I had bought one-now i'm off to return it) The set is $9.99. Fun for your listening center. Farm animals, math, rhyming words and ?forgot the 4th maybe abcs)

Oh my, that price (for the BOB books) is awesome. I have 3 sets, but I paid full price unfortunately. I haven't seen the BOB books at my Costco! I'll check when I go again this week....

Well I don't know how costco runs things, so I'm not sure if it is national or local, but it was such a great deal I had to post. If it's only at mine maybe I should start taking orders! JK after shipping it wouldn't save you any money. maybe they have it at costco.com too?

They are available to buy with Costco's deal online, but it isn't the same deal. It's through the book's website, BOB BOOKS and the price for the books is $14.95, not $9.99. (to access order page, click on the "Order here" tab at top of page)

I sent Granny into Costco for me in Wilmington! She bought set 1, but they were out of set 2. I held off on set three- want to see how we do with the first one. A homeschooling mom will go to any lengths for a good deal, LOL
