says she hurt her elbow and I need to come right away, that the coach needs to talk to me!! Just what every parent wants to hear!! Ugh!!! (wonderful way to top of the wonderful day I have been having ) So it turns out she did not do anything to it, it just started hurting really badly. They had been icing it and it was a little better. She had had problems with tennis elbow toward the end of last school year, so we were wondering if that was what it was. So I took her to the urgent care, and it is not tennis elbow, but tendonitis. Basically from over using the tendons. So we have to get her an elastic elbow brace and use ibuprofen and ice and heat. Of course she is not going to quit playing volleyball, but she may use it for an excuse to get out of doing things in practice that she doesn't want to
